Lynsey is an Occupational therapist and has been working in the Medical assessment unit of the Western General in Edinburgh for over 10 years. From Northern Ireland, trained in Edinburgh and decided to stay in Scotland after a bout of travelling. Specialist interests include Frailty, palliative care and she has led QI improvement work which has improved patient outcomes. Having completed the Scottish Improvement Leadership Programme QI is an ongoing interest.
Pretty active and enjoys exercise, love to cook especially for others. Self confessed ‘outsidey’ and not ‘outdoorsy’- likes long walks and hill climbing with her wife and golden retriever back in NI or the Scottish Highlands but won’t be found camping anytime soon.
