SAMBA 2022
Join us for the Society for Acute Medicine Benchmarking Audit 2022 on 23rd June 2022.
SAMBA22 will collect information on unit structures, as well as helping us understand more about your acute medicine workforce.
All users will need to re-register for SAMBA22 by completing the form. Your contact details will only be used to contact you for matters related to SAMBA. Users will be registered to the database in batches, prior to the day of data collection.
For Trusts that have more than one hospital, please register each hospital site separately. Please take care to write out the hospital name in full, no abbreviations or the name of the trust.

You can specify if you want to be the lead for your unit – this will make you the default contact point for your hospital for SAMBA22.
We will email all registered users of the SAMBA database to let you know when this year’s data collection tools are available.
A Caldicott Approval form will need to be completed for SAMBA22.

The unit questionnaire will be available in the database prior to the 23rd June.
Please start arranging your SAMBA22 data collectors for the 23rd June 2022 and ensure that your Caldicott Guardian has approved data release. Also, your local audit team should be made aware and approve of SAMBA22 using your usual local permissions. The data entry deadline is 23:59 on 19th August 2022.
