Steffi McLucas
Physician Associate Representative
Steffi is an Acute Internal Medicine (AIM) Physician Associate working at Mid Cheshire Hospital Foundation Trust (MCHFT) and has worked in AIM since qualification in 2021. She is her trusts first Physician Associate Advocate working on PA matters since 2024. She works across the acute medical services to include SDEC, AMU, AMRA and the ward returner clinic. She has worked on and led multiple SAMBAs over the years, is working towards FAMUS accreditation and provides extended skills such as abdominal paracentesis and lumbar puncture.
Her passion projects have always been education and continued professional development and she particularly enjoyed her time as Educational Lead at UoM and as a guest lecturer.
Outside of work, she is a mum to a fantastic 2-year-old little boy and a border terrier ‘Gary’ and loves spending time in the wilderness pretending she’s not lost!
