Ailie Young
Trainee Representative
Ailie is an ST6 in Acute Medicine working in the South East region of Scotland. She is a previous Chief Registrar, TakeAIM Fellow and enjoys being a representative for Acute Medicine in Scotland.
Ailie has a special interest in Obstetric Medicine and is passionate about addressing medical problems in pregnancy and in the postpartum period. She is keen to ensure that no woman is denied assessment, investigation or treatment because of a pregnancy.
Outside of work she spends her time between tiring out her young son and teaching people how to pronounce her name (Ai-lee).
