The Society for Acute Medicine’s 2026 Spring Conference will take place on 30 April – 1 May 2026 at Cardiff Holland House Hotel.
This is a hybrid conference with both in-person and virtual attendance available to book. 12 External CPD Points will be applied for with the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. Archived access for SAMCardiff will also be applied for, for an additional 8 external CPD points.

Abstract submission Open!
Deadline for submissions: 2359hrs on Sunday 1 March 2026
SAM invite authors to submit an abstract for display at SAMCardiff in the online ePoster showcase and as a full sized poster at the event. A selection of the best abstracts may also be invited to take part in an oral presentation on the main conference programme.
The ePoster showcase will be live for 1 year after the conference dates to extend the life and reach of your poster. Abstract Submissions are invited from all members of the multi professional team.

SAMCardiff includes our annual POCUS cases lightning session, where we are aiming to showcase the utility of point of care ultrasound within Acute Medicine. If you have an anonymised case (with good quality images) that you’d like to present, please consider applying now!
