The Society for Acute Medicine (SAM) is delighted to notify you all of the results of the recent call for applications and subsequent elections that finished last week.
- Vicky Price has been elected to President Elect
- Nick Smallwood has been elected to England Representative for a second term
- Michael Trimble has been appointed as Northern Ireland Representative
- Claire Gordon has been appointed as Scotland Representative
- John Hounsell has been appointed as Wales Representative
- Elaine Clark has been elected as ACP Representative for a second term
- Bethan Griffith has been elected as New Consultant Representative
- Kai Jones-White has been elected as Physician Associate Representative
- Latif Rahman has been elected to Trainee Representative
- Chris Subbe has been appointed to continue as Chair of the Quality Improvement Committee
All will take up their posts from the Council meeting in Glasgow on the 11th October just before the conference on 12th and 13th October.
We are very much looking forward to working with them all and again want to thank those members of council whose term is ending, namely, Sue Crossland, Damian Dooey, Dan Beckett, Chris Hodcroft, Moni Choudhury and Courteney Mathewson.
As Vicky has been appointed to President Elect we will shortly be announcing applications of interest for the Secretary post so do look out in your emails for this in the near future.
