Society for Acute Medicine’s Patients: Learning from Experience Report (SAM-PLER)
Patient experience can be an important part of feedback for healthcare services. As part of the work conducted by the SAM QI committee, the SAM-PLER project will be the next step in understanding patient feedback in acute medicine services.
We are currently looking for units that would be interested in collecting feedback on the experience of acute medicine patients in their unit.
The next step of this project, where a small number of units will obtain feedback via patient survey locally at their sites, is planned for early September 2022.
If you are interested in being a site to take part, or you would like more information or to be involved in SAM QI’s future work on patient experience, please contact us at christian.subbe@wales.nhs.uk
