REMINDER – CALL FOR APPLICANTS

Dear SAM member,

*This is a reminder that the deadline for applications is Monday 4th July 2022. Please submit your application (details below) to administrator@acutemedicine.org.uk*

In accordance with the Society’s Articles of Association the following posts are now up for election. Please click on the links below to view the job descriptions:

e are looking for applicants who are passionate about acute medicine, new ways of working, sustaining safe and effective care, and the development of the specialty and the multi-professional group of healthcare professionals who work in acute medicine.

Please feel free to get in touch (administrator@acutemedicine.org.uk) if you require further details, they will be able to put you in touch with the current post holder which is the best way to fully appreciate what the role entails.

If more than one application is received an election shall be held.

Applications should be made electronically to the Society’s office by midday on Monday 4th July 2022.

Your application must include:

A 300 (maximum) word statement to support your candidacy. Statements exceeding the word limited will be returned to you for editing
You must be proposed and seconded by two society members who are in good standing with the society
You must be in good standing with the society and have been a member for the requisite amount of time (see relevant job description)

Please supply contact details including a mechanism to contact you as soon as the results are available. We prefer to contact all candidates by telephone when possible.

The successful candidates will be invited to start their duties at the council meeting in Manchester on the 18^th September 2022, and attend the SAM conference in Manchester 19^th and 20^th September.
