Dear Colleagues
The RCP has launched a national survey on the future of medical training.
With questions designed by resident doctors for resident doctors, the RCP wants to know what people think about applying to medical training, supervision and feedback, the working environment, and the future of medicine as a career.
The survey can be accessed here:

Please also encourage your resident doctor colleagues to get involved. They don’t need to be an RCP member or even working in a physician (medical) specialty.
During the past few years, the RCP has successfully campaigned for a long-term approach to workforce planning, the expansion of medical school and postgraduate training places and a review of postgraduate medical training. The RCP is now pushing for urgent action on competition ratios for specialty training and is are putting resident doctors at the heart of the conversation about the 10-Year Health Plan.
The RCP next generation campaign is an important part of the RCP’s response to the difficulties of the past 18 months.
