Acute Medicine Awareness Week 2014!
Below is a small snap shot of the events which happened in different units around the UK for Acute Medicine Awareness Week.

University Hospital Crosshouse: Their cake sale and prize draws raised over £800 for new equipment for their unit!
Altnagelvin Hospital: They promoted the work of their unit and speciality with a large information stand for staff and public alike.
Barnsley Hospital: They organised a virtual marathon on a treadmill, with everyone from the unit taking part alongside raising £128!
Kings College Hospital: Their poster displays and cake sale helped to raise awareness of acute medicine and £150 for their unit!
North West Rounders Competition: Won by Fairfield Hospital in Bury!
Southmead Hospital: At Bristol, they created a large information stand, invited local GPs to the AAU alongside holding teaching for the entire multi-disciplinary team.
Salford Royal Hospital: This large team activity saw members of the AMU running or walking laps of the hospital totalling the distance of visiting every AMU in the Greater Manchester area as well as raising £200.
